To become a member, please complete the Registration form.

The first-year fees for new members are:

Individual Family Junior	$20.00 $35.00 $10.00
The renewal fees for current members are (per year):
Individual Family Junior	$10.00 $17.50 $5.00

What membership means
As a member of the AGS:

• receive the (e-zine) AGS Newsletter (quarterly)
• list kennel on the AGS Breeder Page
• register gerbils and litters with the AGS
• access the Message Board (ask questions, visit, give advise, advertise gerbils for adoption)
• download and use the AGS pedigree
• participate in AGS sponsored events and functions
• vote in elections for AGS Executive Board and Committee Members

Membership Process

Dues may be paid through Paypal or by mail using our payment instructions.

Your name and address are required information. An e-mail address is not required but will speed up the membership process. A kennel or clan name is optional for pet or companion gerbils but will be required at such time you register your gerbils for show purposes. Once the necessary registration information and payment is received your Membership ID/User name and password are sent to you so that you may access the Members section of our website. Please remember that a signed Parental Permission form is required for Junior Membership. The AGS is staffed entirely with volunteers. We have jobs and families, and appreciate your patience! We strive to enroll new members as quickly as possible; however it may take 10-14 days for processing. If you send us your information and payment through the US Postal Service, please allow an additional 7 days. Thank you for your understanding!

A word to AGS Members in California
If you live in CA and plan to join, we urge you to read this. Gerbils are illegal in California.

Officers

Volunteering

The AGS has many volunteer opportunities for members as Board alternates or interns, as helpers at AGS shows, on our Ethics Committee, or assisting with AGS publications such as our newsletter, Gerbil Tales, and our website.
