Self Class

Best In Class

SB’s Red Admiral

Owner: Christine Stys

#S-016

Red Fox Male

Age: Four months old

Judges Comments:
Wow! Stunningly handsome! His coat has to be the most soft and shiny I have seen! Firm overall masculine build and a beautiful tail. I think his coat could be a richer reddish-gold/orange, but might be the reflection of light.

Best of Opposite Sex

CNC’s Eureka

Owner: Katie Anastasi

#S-029

Black Female

Age: Eight months old

Judges Comments:
Attractive feminine physique! Very glossy coat! She has a long tail, that starts off thick, but appears to taper at this angle. She has some stray white hairs. A flash might be reflecting a slight brown cast to the coat. Her eyes appear more rounded than almond in shape. I would love to see her in person.

2nd Place

BWC’s Keaton

Owner: Jo Kelley

#S-018

Nutmeg Male

Age: 3.5 months old

Judges Comments:
A male in great condition — and what a bushy tail tuft! Good gold coat color and even black ticking. Big, bright eyes. I like his short, broad face. There is an appearance of a white patch near the underbelly. (No white on lips, under chin, and on paws is sought after, though hard to obtain.) I’d like to see him standing on all fours rather than lying down to better see body’s shape. He is off to a good start in his show career.

3rd Place

BWC’s Keepsake “Keegan”

Owner: Jo Kelley

#S-017

Silver Nutmeg Male

Age: Eight months old

Judges Comments:
Whoa! He has an appealing big, bulky body type. It would be easier to assess body condition if he were not lying down. A thick and well furred tail. Very strong and even black ticking; wouldn’t want to see in any heavier though. Some white on lips and paws. White whiskers are desirable for Silver Nutmeg.

Honorable Mention

PFG’s Tiago

Owner: Katie McQueen

#S-005

Dove Male

Age: 10 months old

Judges Comments:
He has a stunning face and whiskers on his front shot! His coat is a good even color, with a beautiful sheen. A good thick, long, and tufty tail. There may be a tail bend. I would like to see him face-to-face.

Honorable Mention

Nutmeg

Owner: Maggie Dinneen

#S-001

Nutmeg Male

Age: One year old

Judges Comments:
A handsome male. He is positioned awkwardly to view his upper body. Wonderful coat condition. A golden color and fairly even ticking. There is a molt line. White lips and paws. Thick, proportional tail. Large, almond-shaped eyes. I would like to see him in person to get a better view.

Honorable Mention

HsR’s Bella

Owner: Lydia Duke

#S-014

Dove Female

Age: 3.5 months old

Judges Comments:
A beauty! She has long, fanning light gray whiskers. Tail is thick and the correct length. Feminine body type. Nicely set eyes and good head shape.

Outstanding Senior

Amaranthine’s Solomon III

Owner: Samantha Maurice

#S-024

Lilac Male

Age: 2.5 years old

Judges Comments:
Good masculine build. Long whiskers. Nice, widely set ruby eyes. Coat has a yellow tinge, and he appears to be molting. He would do better if tail were thicker and had more tuft. (Tail is quite thick for his age, however!)

Outstanding Senior

DDG’s Midnight Snowstorm

Owner: Theannah Hannon

#S-027

Black Female

Age: Three years old

Judges Comments:
She would do well with more shapeliness to her build. There are some white furs in the coat but almost no white on her paws. Proportional tail but the tuft is thin with slight tail bend. Sweet facial features. (Excellent high-sheen, high intensity color, especially for a 3 year old! Has kept a nice figure. Tail is very thick and tufty for her generation.)

Other Entries

#S-002

Toast

Silver Nutmeg Male

Age: One year old

Owner: Maggie Dinneen

Judges Comments:
He looks active. Very little white on paws! Even black ticking. The front view shows some yellow in his coat. The tail appears a good length, but appears to taper, from this view. He might do better photographed at different angles.

#S-003

Charcoal

Slate Male

Age: Five months old

Owner: Brenna Dinneen

Judges Comments:
Even slate colored coat. He has a proportional tail and gorgeous tuft. Nice slate whiskers. Standards call for dark feet and nails and no white bib. He would do better with more bulk.

#S-004

SStar’s BWC’s Winter Forecast

Silver Nutmeg Male

Age: One year old

Owner: Danielle Cromer

Judges Comments:
Beautiful coat and even black ticking. Well prepared. He looks to be in good shape. He may do better at a future show with more upper body mass. Attractive features and a well rounded male — a top contender as he matures.

#S-006

Mushroom Sorbet of Taizer Kennels

Nutmeg Male

Age: Seven months old

Owner: Naomi Agha

Judges Comments:
He has large, bright eyes and it looks like his tail is proportional in thickness to his body. He is molting and it is hard to determine whether he is rich gold in color. I would like to get a better overall look at him and as he matures.

#S-007

HHGs Zoey

Slate Female

Age: 1.5 years old

Owner: Diane Nott

Judges Comments:
Wonderful dark slate color throughout the coat. She would do better with more muscle toward the rear. The tail is a good length, though there is a bend/taper. Barely any white, nice!

#S-008

HHGs Buddys Little Bear

Nutmeg Male

Age: Nine months old

Owner: Diane Nott

Judges Comments:
Long whiskers and large, black eyes. He has fairly even ticking. His color looks lighter than called for. His front nails appear red and should be black. His tail looks proportionally thick and there is some tuftiness. He would do better with more male bulk.

#S-010

LL’s Houdini

Lilac Male

Age: 1.5 years old

Owner: Michelle B.

Judges Comments:
A striking lilac color with a glossy sheen! There is a very slight tan tinge to the coat, seen on the front view. Beautiful whiskers. The tail looks thicker and tufty in the frontal view. He might do better with some more muscle mass. I would like to see him from all angles in person.

#S-011

Daphney

Black Female

Age: One year old

Owner: Hanna Neff

Judges Comments:
She looks very black in the side view. There seems to be a brown tinge in the front view, and she has some white furs. Black lips, chin, and whiskers are desired. She has a proportional tail length and thickness. The standing position gives the appearance of a neck dip.

#S-012

Shortstuff’s Rubies on the Mountain

Dove Female

Age: One year old

Owner: Nicholas Sakich

Judges Comments:
Pretty face and dark ruby eyes. Her rump appears slightly weak in this posture. I would love to see a clearer picture. Perhaps a contrasting background color could show her off better as well. Her whiskers and tuft are hard to see.

#S-013

Shortstuff’s A Touch of Class

Black Male

Age: One year old

Owner: Nicholas Sakich

Judges Comments:
Soft-looking fur. Very few blemishes in the black coat; however, he has white under his chin and on his paws and a few white whiskers. I like his straight tail with some tuftiness. I would like to see him when he gains more mass with maturity.

#S-015

LW’s SB Silver Ranger

Silver Nutmeg Male

Age: One year old

Owner: LW’s SB Silver Ranger

Judges Comments:
Great tail, with a brush-like tuft. He looks like he is molting and the fur should be white with even black ticking. He would do better photographed at his level. He looks like he could be young and would do better with more bulk.

#S-019

BWC’s RDG’s Ryan

Red Fox Male

Age: One year old

Owner: Jo Kelley

Judges Comments:
Strong masculine type. He has a proportionally thick and long tail. He would do better with no white furs on his back and if his coat were deeper reddish gold. He may be molting. Signature light fur around the eyes.

#S-020

Pete

Black Male

Age: Three years old

Owner: Heather Body

Judges Comments:
Wonderful jet black coat. He could do better with more mass. His tail is straight; however, it looks a bit thin and has a weak tuft. I would like to see clearer images of him.

#S-021

Ash

Slate Male

Age: Nine months old

Owner: Shannon Theriault

Judges Comments:
It is awesome to see no white on his paws. He has a wonderful even dark slate coat, with great whiskers to match. Beautiful tufty tail! The side view gives the appearance of a dip in the neck. I would love to see him as he matures and gains more mass.

#S-022

SCG’s Digger

Nutmeg Female

Age: Four months old

Owner: Angela England

Judges Comments:
Striking black almond-shaped eyes. Proportional tail thickness and length. Gold color and black ticking, with some molting. Minimal white can be seen on lips and paws. Appears to be a slight dip in neck. I would like to see her standing on all fours and with her tail held straight back.

#S-025

Blackbird’s Gette

Lilac Male

Age: Two years old

Owner: Jennifer Meekins

Judges Comments:
Dark ruby, widely set eyes. Very shiny, deep lilac coat. Tail is proportional with body size and length. His tail color appears lighter than the rest of the coat and has a curve near the tip.

#S-026

DDG’s Night Of No Stars

Black Female

Age: 3.5 years old

Owner: Theannah Hannon

Judges Comments:
She has a charming face, eyes, and ears. Soft looking coat, with some white furs and whiskers. Her tail is a good length, though it could be more thick and tufty.

#S-028

DDG’s Golden Honey Wheat

Nutmeg Female

Age: Three years old

Owner: Theannah Hannon

Judges Comments:
Beautiful facial features and ears. Feminine appearance. Her tail tuft looks weak. Her overall coloring appears light, with little ticking. She also has areas of fading and/ or molting. Unique — perhaps carrying an ef (schimmel) gene.
