First Place

MS's Marble

Owner: Katie Johnson
#M-002

Mottled Black Female

6 months

Judges Comments:

Fully mature female with nice variegated markings in body and blaze. Clean and well prepared for show, well posed and photographed makes it easy to see what a lovely girl she is.

Second Place

DSG's Michelle

Owner: Cory Hoover
#M-007

Mottled Black Female

4 months

Judges Comments:

She is good size and fully mature, LOVE how the back is completely variegated with a mix of black and white. Wonderful straight tail with full tuft. Pretty half-white tail markings. This gerbil is hitting the 75% white limit. Would not want to see any more white than this on a mottled gerbil. Hard to assess body type given photo angles.

Third Place

KK's Tutti Fruitti

Owner: Kaylin LeMelle-Thomas
#M-005

Mottled Black Female

1 year

Judges Comments:

Very nicely shaped body and head, fully mature, like the variegated markings in blaze and color. Tail has nice thickness and tuft, though not held perfectly straight in photo.

#M-001

Mottled Black Female

Judges Comments:

This is going to be one gorgeous gerbil. Her compact body size and long tail indicate she is a youngster making it difficult to compete with the fully mature ladies in this class. Wonderful marking, beautiful coat, great very straight tail and tuft.

#M-003

Mottled Blue Female

Judges Comments:

Broad head, very nice blue coloring, more mature and streamlined body. She will be a real contender and may have done better on all fours. Standing poses tend to make gerbils look thinner.

#M-004

Mottled Blue Female

Judges Comments:

Looks so much like M-003, they could be sisters. This is the less mature female, may be more pied than mottled. Tail not held straight. Cute little ears and nice fanning whiskers.
Show note: she is M-003's daughter.
