A very big, solid boy; a bit too big, judging by the fatty hump over his shoulders. He does have a nice thick tail to match his size, and what looks like a good tuft. His eye is round and somewhat bulgy, probably in part due to his weight. Impressively, he has NO white on his paws or in his whiskers!

Coat is well-prepared for show. Though he has some stray white hairs in his tail and up by his neck, the rest is a deep, glossy black. He has a good bulky male body type without being obese, and a nice fan of whiskers.

I love this fella's tail tuft! Unfortunately, his positioning in the side view is awkward, making him look hunched and oddly proportioned. It's likely the camera angle, but he appears to have a very small, compact body relative to his head and tail. His color is a bit light, not quite the jet black of his competitors. There is some white on his chin, but none visible on his chest or paws.

Poses and photo quality make judging this boy a challenge. I do see white flecks in his coat, as well as white on his paws. He is overweight, with fat rolls on his chest and behind his front legs. He does have a nice broad, short head.
Satomis Stormy Blue

While I like the fact that her coat color is very even and not ticked, this little girl is at the very edge of what I'd consider too dark for Blue. At first glance, she could easily be mistaken for a Slate. Her hind paws are noticeably lighter, so perhaps she will molt into a lighter adult coat. She is rather young, and her body type immature. She has significant white on her forepaws, as well as some white whiskers.
