First Place

Absolutely gorgeous nutmeg.  Her body is very uniform and streamline. Nice rich golden undercoat however the ticking is not as dark as it could be. Nice broad head set well into the body with large alert almond shaped eyes and short erect oval ears.  Very straight tail, it seems it might be short, but measuring it's almost exactly as long as her body. A decent tuft but it could stand to be fuller. The face pic is darling and she has such a nice set of full whiskers , they seem to "fan" out around her delicate little face.
 

Best Opposite Sex

Very nice looking male.  Bulk is excellent for his age.  Fur color is light and a nice soft gray. Fur is smooth and soft with a healthy sheen.  Another very lovely head, nice and broad set well into the body and shoulders. Eyes large, bright and almond shaped. Ears seem to taper at the tips making them appear a bit long.  Tail not quite straight, little curvature.  Nice tuft, could be fuller.
 

Second Place

Nice, deep lilac coloring, fur smooth and soft. Such nice long and full whiskers this guy has. Tail seems a little short but could be angle of picture, not much presence of tail tuft.
 

Third Place

Very nice bulky male for a 11 mos old!  He still has some growing to do however!  His head is not as broad as it could be and it looks like his nose is a little long.  His fur color is nice and glossy black and the apperance is smooth and soft.  He does have some small white hairs it seems invading his color on the side of his neck and next to his ear. He also has white under his nose and on his chin, also along his paws. Lovely full whiskers, ears short and oval, eyes large, bright but more round than almond.  Nice straight tail and a very nice spiky tuft!
 

Very nice Lilac color, overall fur apperance seems very soft and smooth.  Not quite hefty enough for his age, could be bulkier. His head is set well into his body.
 

This little female's conformation is very good for her age, tho she still seems to be a bit on the small side making her still look somewhat pupish.  Fur color is very smooth and perfectly glossy like a black should be without seeming greasy. Presence of white under the nose and on the chin, also on the paws. Good Tuft.
 

Very small female, not quite into her weight even at 4 mos.  Dove color os very beautiful and the beginnings of a very nice tail tuft. Ears and eyes are good on this gerbil, very well set head overall.
 

Lovely white coloring, very "crisp", with barely a trace of any kind of staining.
 

Nice bulk for this male. His coloring seems a bit lighter than standard for a Lilac.  His head is remarkable, very broad, short and set extremely well to his body. Fur smooth and clean.  Tail long and straight except at the tip, would like to see a fuller tuft.
 

Good bulk and apperance for this 4 month old, just needing a tad bit more.  Beautiful Red Fox color with a soft, smooth apperance to his fur. Nice tuft.
 

Lovely off white creamish color on this male with a very soft, smooth "cottony" fur apperance.  Needs more bulk for 10mos but he is still young. Nice large bright, alert eyes and nice short broad ears.  Head set well.  Tail has a good tuft.
 

Very nice lilac female. Pictures are hard to see due to being so small, so difficult to get a good look at the ears.  She seems to have a nice smooth fur apperance. Nice straight tail, unable to tell tuft or whiskers.

Makings of a good bulk for this guy for his age.  Good looking nutmeg with even deep, dark ticking and a nice golden undertone.  Apperance is soft and sleek. Nice short broad ears.  Tail has a decent tuft.  Handsome male, I like him.

Nice fur color on this female with smooth, soft apeearance with nice sheen.  Does not seem she has come into her body just yet.  Ears nice and full.  Lovely eyes that are nice alert and almond shaped.
 

Nice streamline body type but not quite into her mass, however she is still young.  Due to flash washout, hard to tell on the color but she seems a very nice soft gray with a smooth apperance.  Nice bright and alert almond eyes and good short erect ears. Hard to see whiskers.
 

Lovely stark white color, fur apperance seems soft and smooth.  Head is set well into the body. My idea of excellent gerbil ears! Erect, short, with a nice oval shape.  Tail has a nice tuft.
 

Nice bulk and coloring on this male.  Coloring seems a little dark for a Dove, probably Sapphire, and because of that, will not deduct. Fur has a healthy appearance. Excellent head. Very broad and set well into the body.  Ears nice short and oval.  Eyes also very large, bright and almond shaped. Another set of gorgeous whiskers! Tail seems long and straight, however, cut off so the tuft cannot be seen.

Young male gerbil who hasn't come into his bulk yet due to his age.  Would like to see him when he gets older.  Fur has a nice healthy sheen.  Nice broad head. I love how his whiskers are so long they glide along the surface he's on!!
 

I'm judging this gerbils "heftiness" based on the facial picture.  The position on the side picture shows him a bit stretched out and therefore not a good determination for weight. He seems a good size for his age and his fur is nice and smooth.  Very nice color and tho he has a healthy sheen, you still see the "flat" color effect that makes him a slate rather than the glossy effect of Blacks.  Good head size, broad and set well. Eyes large and brigfht. Ears short and oval.  Lovely set of whiskers, very full.Presence of white under his nose but hard to tell if thre is any on his paws.
 

Nice little black male who is already showing good bulk for his age, but give him a few more months to grow into his own.  Hard to judge his color but he seems to be glossy black and his fur is smooth and healthy. White present under nose and on chin, looks like it proceeds along the neck a little bit.  White also present on paws. Head could be broader but again, taking age into account. Nice short full ears, nice bright almond shaped eyes.  Tail has a nice tuft. Whiskers cannot be seen.
