AGS Virtual Show 2005
Pup Class

#005 | Cheam's Queen Noor | Spotted Burmese | Female | 11 wks. | Owner - Sandy Van Eysinga

First Place

This is what I consider a flashy gerbil. Even at this young age, I can see she could easily be a "show gerbil". She has a very feminine build, good size for her age, looks pretty mature although she is not even 3 months old. She has a striking Burmese color (a little light maybe but considering she's spotted it's ok, and will be darker with aging), with beautiful classic spots: nose, forehead, nape of the neck and tuft, which by the way is really nice and full completing a color point tail matching the body size. The eyes are bright and almond shaped, and the right color .The head is well set into the body, with lovely, long, full whiskers, and the ears are nice shaped, and carried erect. She looks curious and healthy and her fur is shiny and soft. She could be a serious contender in the Spot class next year!

#101 | DS's Survivor | Argente Golden | Female | 11 wks. | Owner - Michelle Rush

Second Place

I really like this young Argente golden female! She definitely has a striking rich, orange color and a good contrast between her soft, bright coat and her white belly, limited by a clear line of demarcation. Her body is feminine, slim and she has a good confirmation for her age. Her head is well set into her body, with lovely almond shaped ruby eyes, matching the standard color, and her ears are erect and nicely shaped, covered with fine golden fur. And her whiskers are long and full. Her feet are white with toenails without pigments, which also matches the Standards. Above all I would say she is a really good example of the Standards for an Argente Golden, and I would love to see her in the White Belly category next year.

#108 | Larker | Red-eyed White | Male | 12 wks. | Owner - Kate G.

Third Place

Nice young REW, I'm sure he will grow into a really nice adult gerbil. His fur is shiny and pure white, and it looks really soft. He has a reasonable bulk for his age, which I'm sure will continue developing as he grows up. His head is short and broad and well set into the body, and has lovely ruby, almond shaped eyes, bright and alert. Ears are erect and well shaped. Those whiskers are great and he has a sweet face, confident and sort of posing! Feet and toenails are of the right coloring, tail matches the body size, although I cannot see the tuft due to the angle of the tail in the photo.

#028 | Hills's Kublai Khan | Colorpoint Golden Agouti | Male | 6 wks. | Owner - Mary Alice Hill

Honorable Mention

What it first caught my attention was that this young male has a pretty nice masculine bulk for his age. So I can imagine he will grow into a nice adult male. His fur is soft and shiny, his head is well set into the body, with lovely bright, almond shaped eyes, and long, full whiskers, that shade down from dark, around the nose, to white at the end. The orange color is really light, but you can still see it on his coat and tail. The tail matches the body size and has a really nice tuft.

#018 | Hills's Conchaka | Pied Black | Female | 8 wks. | Owner - Mary Alice Hill

I like this girl a lot! She has an adorable, sweet _expression on her face, looking curious and yet relaxed and confident, with beautiful nose and forehead spot, and a gorgeous collar. He whiskers are long and full, and her eyes are almond shaped and bright. She has also a nice tail matching the body size that ends in a full, thick tuft. I would love to take her home

#019 | Chip | Golden Agouti | Male | 7 wks. | Owner - Krista Thompson

Lovely Agouti coloring for this young fellow, who seems curious and inquisitive. He has an adorable face with long, full whiskers and large, bright eyes.

#020 | Dale | Black | Male | 7 wks. | Owner - Krista Thompson

Adorable and sweet face for a really nice black pup. He seems alert and, also curious and I would love to see him when he grows up!

#029 | Hills's Ghengis Khan | Colorpoint Golden Agouti | Male | 6 wks. | Owner - Mary Alice Hill

This young male has a really good male build and bulk for his age, and he seems to meet all the Standards for his color, although the Agouti color might look a little light. He will grow into a very nice male!

#035 | Hills's Jagatai Khan | Honey Cream | Male | 6 wks. | Owner - Mary Alice Hill

Really nice honey cream male, pretty bulky considering his age. His fur is soft and bright and with that "Peaches and Cream" effect. His head is well set into his body,  with long, full whiskers and lovely bright almond shaped eyes. He has a nice tail, matching the body size, with a full tuft, and the toenails are of the right color as well.
