Best In Class

This is a masculine male with a nice rear and head set well into body. His head is broad with almond eyes and is appropriately short. His ears are not too round and his whiskers are long and full. He has excellent points, especially for a pied gerbil with darker fur on his tail, ears, and nose. His collar has clear margins. His coat looks smooth and soft. His tail is an appropriate length and width.

Best of Opposite Sex

This is a feminine-looking gerbil with nice, even pied markings. I would like to see darker points on the ears and nose. Her coat looks shiny and healthy with no signs of staining. She has a nice head that is not too narrow or long. Her eyes are a desirable almond shape and her whiskers are long and full. She has an excellent tail that is the right length and width with a very nice tuft.

2nd Place

This is a handsome male who I would like to see with a little more bulk. He has a nice head with eyes that are not too close together and the head is appropriately short. His coat is shiny and healthy-looking, but his pied markings are a little difficult to see in the side shot. His tail is a good length and width but I'd like to see more of a tuft.

Third Place

This male is gorgeous with beautiful markings (a fat white, full collar), strong body, and a fantastic tail and tuft. He looks young and will show better with some more bulk.

Honorable Mention

This male has an excellent masculine build with appropriate bulk. I would like to see a little more substance to his rear, but it may be the way he is standing. This gerbil has a nice head with eyes that are not too close together and beautiful long whiskers. His eyes are a bit too round rather than almond-shaped. His coat is shiny with no yellow staining and he has a very good collar with clear margins between the black and white fur. His tail is difficult to judge in this photo but it doesn't have any obvious kinks, and I can't tell about his tuft.

Honorable Mention

This is a very pretty girl with a beautiful body and coloring. She has pretty long whiskers. Her white collar is difficult to see, but that could be due to flash. Also, it looks like she has a bit of hair loss at the base of her tail (may be due to over-grooming).

This is a obviously a very pretty girl but there are some photo issues here. The angle of the camera makes her face look big and body smaller giving her an immature appearance. Also, it looks like there are white hairs in the black fur which could be the lighting. She may have shown better with a better camera angle and lighting on the photo.

This is a cute little guy with a nice face and very full whiskers. He also has a nice tail tuft. His coloring seems a little yellow for a siamese, but that could be the lighting. He may also show better with more bulk.

This gerbil has beautiful body type, bulk, head, and markings. The white in the side of his fur and in his face prevents him from placing. This increased white in the fur is common in an older gerbil.

This male has nice face markings and beautiful full whiskers. He would show better with a bit more bulk. Also, his tail doesn't look completely straight in this picture.

This is a cute guy but his pied markings are difficult to see in this light. He's another gerbil that would show better with more bulk. His tail has a small wave in it but it looks like there is a wrinkle in the towel that may be causing that.

This is a feminine-looking girl but unfortunately her color is washed out, probably due to the flash on the camera. She has beautiful full, long whiskers. Her tail looks a bit tapered in this picture. She might show better with natural lighting.

This is a handsome young man with a beautiful tail and tuft. He also has nice, long whiskers. He lacks the full collar of a pied gerbil but might have some nice-looking pups if bred to a well-marked pied female or a lightly-spotted female. He looks quite young and has some more bulking up to do.
