Hello. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a broker for Logan Airport to help bring our pet gerbils back to the US. They are currently required to fly cargo--no rodents are allowed in cabin, and no live animals are allowed in the hold on EU airlines because of covid. Regulations changed when borders opened 9 June. For now, because our work contract ends in July and we have to return to the US, the poor gerbils have to go as cargo without us.
Cargo requires a pet transporter (currently? always?), and we've found someone on this end, but she hasn't found anyone on the Boston end yet. I woke this morning and thought 'AGS!' If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, please let me know.
That is great news!
Thanks so much. We seem to have figured it all out. Really great assistance from Sally Smith at Airborne Animals. She mostly focuses on birds just now, but she clarified everything that was needed and filed all the paperwork pronto. She's out of NY but can work through Boston as well. Our fellas should be flying out 15 July or thereabouts. What an adventure!
When would they be flying? I am near Boston. I can look into it.
