Slate

Fur

The coat shall be a dark slate down to the skin and of an even color all over the body, the appearance of a “blue” cast throughout the coat

Eyes

Shall be dark, large and bright

Ears

Shall be covered in fine slate fur.

Whiskers

Shall be slate to match the body color, long and bristling.

Feet

Toenails shall be dark in color.

Faults

White bib, paws, mustache, or chin; stray white hairs; fur appears black (too dark) or lilac (too light); pale eye circles; fur of any other color in the coat; toenails not of the correct color.
